Robert Callais

Vice President - Operations, IES Board Member

Robert Callais is Vice President - Operations and has been a member of the IES Board of Directors since September 2014, bringing 41 years of industry knowledge and high standards of service quality to the team. His career has expanded internationally from Asia to the Middle East, allowing him to serve in oil and gas leadership positions for both Schlumberger and Dow Chemical.

A graduate of Delgado Community College in Advanced Radar Plotting for Collision Avoidance at sea, as well as the Houston Marine Training Academy and Louisiana Marine Petroleum Vocational Institute, Robert also holds a variety of industry certifications, including Safe Gulf & Safe Land, H2S, BOSEIT, DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation, Stop Work Authority, Forklift Operations, PPE Training, Lockout/Tagout, and Marine Debris.

Robert believes the best part of being an IES Board Member is his contribution in putting together innovative, cost-effective solutions and enhancing products and services provided to our clients. He strongly believes this is what allows IES to set the standard as a leader in remediation services. 

Robert enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Lorraine, and their family and loves to ride bikes, work in the yard, barbecue and take saltwater fishing trips when the opportunity arises. 

He has also been an active member of the Knights of Columbus since 1995.
